This part of GB/T 20380 specifies the method for determining the mercury content in starch and its derivatives and by-products by cold atomic absorption spectrometry. At present, metal cold atomic vapor generators are available in a variety of technical specifications, so it is not possible to provide a comprehensive method to ensure satisfactory test results on various instruments. Therefore, each analyst should optimize the operating conditions of their own instruments according to general or specific guidelines.
