Abstract
This standard specifies the classification principles and classification codes for waste products.
This standard applies to waste products generated within the territory of the People's Republic of China.
This standard does not include the classification of waste products subject to other laws and regulations:
——Radioactive substances;
——Waste products generated from the exploration, extraction, processing, and storage of ores and quarries;
——Animal carcasses, agricultural waste materials such as sludge, and other natural, harmless substances used on farms;
——Scrap explosives;
——Cultural relics;
——Medical drugs;
——Hazardous waste;
——Others.
