GB 31241-2014 Lithium ion cells and batteries used in portable electronic equipments—Safety requirements
Abstract
This standard specifies the safety requirements for lithium-ion batteries and battery packs used in portable electronic products.
This standard applies to lithium-ion batteries and battery packs used in portable electronic products (hereinafter referred to as batteries and battery packs), and the portable electronic products within the scope of this standard are as follows:
a) Portable office products: laptops, PDAs, etc.
b) Mobile communication products: mobile phones, cordless phones, Bluetooth headsets, walkie-talkies, etc.
c) Portable audio/video products: portable televisions, portable DVD players, MP3/MP4 players, cameras, camcorders, voice recorders, etc.
d) Other portable products: electronic navigators, digital photo frames, game consoles, e-books, etc.
The above-mentioned portable electronic products do not include all products, so products not listed here may not necessarily be outside the scope of this standard.
For lithium-ion batteries or battery packs used in portable electronic products in specific scenarios such as vehicles, ships, and airplanes, as well as in special fields such as medical, mining, and underwater operations, there may be additional requirements.
