Abstract
This part of GB 15579 specifies the test steps for periodic inspections and ensuring electrical safety after repairs. These test steps are also applicable to the maintenance of equipment.
This part applies to power supplies used for arc welding and similar processes designed in accordance with the GB 15579.1-2013 or IEC 60974-6 standards. Stand-alone auxiliary devices designed in accordance with other parts of GB 15579 can be tested according to this part.
