GB/T 27021.1-2017 Conformity assessment—Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems—Part 1:Requirements
Abstract
This part of GB/T 27021 contains the principles and requirements for the competence, consistency, and impartiality of audit and certification bodies for all types of management systems. Certification bodies operating in accordance with this part do not need to provide certification for all types of management systems. Management system certification is a third-party conformity assessment activity (see ISO/IEC 17000:2004, 5.5), so the institutions implementing this activity are third-party conformity assessment bodies.
