Abstract
This standard specifies the relevant requirements for the installation conditions, installation methods, arrangement order, number and location of road traffic signals (hereinafter referred to as "signals"), installation orientation, signal pole components, cable laying, design and construction qualifications, etc. This standard applies to the installation of signals at urban road and highway intersections (hereinafter referred to as "intersections"), urban road and highway sections (hereinafter referred to as "sections"), and urban road and highway-railway intersections (hereinafter referred to as "railway crossings").
