This document sets forth the content and rules for formulating detailed specifications for the SBMA series blind-insert RF coaxial connectors, as well as the blank format of the detailed specifications. The SBMA series blind-insert RF coaxial connectors feature a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω and an operating frequency up to 28 GHz. They are used in communications, antennas, radar, and other fields, and can also be connected to cables, microstrip, and other types of transmission lines. They are widely used in modular complete products, such as interconnecting modules in chassis and cabinets. This document specifies the mating interface dimensions of general connectors, the specific dimensions of Class 0 standard test connectors, and all the content, rules, and tests applicable to the SBMA series RF connectors selected from IEC 611691:2013. This document provides recommended performance characteristics for writing a detailed specification, which includes a list of all tests and inspection requirements.
