Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and shelf life of glycerin (propanediol).
This standard applies to refined glycerin produced from sweet water containing glycerin generated by saponification, hydrolysis, or ester exchange reactions of animal and vegetable oils in industrial applications.
