GB/T 30692-2014 Rules for the improvement of safety of existing escalators and moving walks
Abstract
1.1 This standard specifies the norms for improving the safety of in-use escalators and automatic walkways.
1.2 This standard considers the safety of the following personnel:
a) users;
b) maintenance and inspection personnel;
c) personnel outside (but in close proximity to) escalators and automatic walkways;
d) authorized personnel.
1.3 This standard applies to in-use escalators and step-type or belt-type automatic walkways. This standard does not apply to:
a) the safety of escalators and automatic walkways during transportation, installation, repair, and dismantling;
b) spiral escalators;
c) accelerated automatic walkways.
However, this standard can be used as a reference.
