Abstract
This document describes three equivalent test methods for subjecting samples to impact under specified harsh conditions, including the number of impacts, energy, and direction of impact. These methods are used to evaluate the robustness of products in accordance with electrical safety requirements.
This document is applicable to tests with energy levels ranging from 0.14 J to 50 J.
This document provides three devices suitable for the tests. Appendix C provides guidance in this regard.
