GB/T 24814-2023 Round steel short link chains for lifting purposes—Medium tolerance sling chains—Grade 4,stainless steel
Abstract
This document specifies the requirements for stainless steel lifting chains of medium accuracy grade 4.
This document is applicable to chains with a nominal diameter (dn) of 4 mm to 22 mm.
The chain is a steel round link chain with a nominal pitch pn equal to 3 dn, and it has undergone electric welding, solid solution annealing, and testing verification. The operating temperature range is -100 ℃ to 400 ℃, and it complies with the general acceptance criteria specified in ISO 1834.
Note 1: Because the lifting chains have undergone solid solution annealing in their final state, lifting chains made from steel selected according to 5.2 are not subject to corrosion resistance restrictions during use. Since higher-strength stainless steel chains are achieved by cold-drawing wire before manufacturing, solid solution annealing will reduce their strength, especially at welds where corrosion resistance is required.
Note 2: Resistance welding and flash welding are described in ISO 4063.
