GB/T 34875-2017 Shaft sealing systems for centrifugal and rotary pumps
Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements for sealing systems used in centrifugal pumps and rotary pumps in the oil, gas, and chemical industries, and provides recommendations. This standard is primarily applicable to sealing systems in hazardous, flammable, and/or toxic environments. In order to improve equipment reliability, reduce emissions into the atmosphere, and lower sealing costs over the lifecycle, these environments require higher reliability from equipment. The pump sealing shaft diameter range specified in this standard is 20 mm to 110 mm.
This standard is also applicable as a reference for sealing spare parts and upgrading existing equipment. The sealing configurations covered in this standard are classified by type, model, arrangement method, and orientation method.
