This standard specifies the method for the determination of perfluorooctane sulfonyl compounds (PFOS) in food packaging materials by high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. The method's detection limit, calculated in terms of perfluorooctane sulfonic acid, is 0.4 μg/m2.
