GB/T 14746-2025 Safety of child riding and activities—Bicycles for young children
Abstract
This document specifies the safety and performance requirements for children's bicycles and their components in terms of design, assembly, and testing, describes the corresponding test methods, and also provides guidelines for the use and maintenance of children's bicycles.
This document applies to children's bicycles with a maximum saddle height of more than 435 mm and less than 635 mm, and which are ridden with a drive mechanism acting on the rear wheel. Any children's bicycle that meets the requirements of this document is not a toy bicycle and therefore does not fall under the scope of toy safety.
This document does not apply to children's bicycles intended for stunt riding (such as BMX bicycles used in extreme sports).
This document does not apply to children's bicycles intended for road cycling.
