This standard specifies the qualitative and quantitative detection methods for migratable fluorescent whitening agents in paper and paperboard.
This standard is applicable to the determination of migratable fluorescent whitening agents in various types of paper and paperboard. The detection limits of the ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry and high-performance liquid chromatography are 20.0 mg/kg.
