This part of DZ/T 0275 specifies the identification content, steps, mineral characteristics, mineral classification, and naming of mineral thin sections under reflected polarized microscopes.
This part is applicable to the identification of rock specimens and thin sections in regional geological surveys, mineral exploration, engineering surveys, and mineral utilization.
This part is not applicable to the identification of coal rock, salt rock, and oil rock specimens.
