Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, marking, inspection certificates, and user manuals for fission molybdenum-99 technetium-99m color layer generators, as well as packaging, transportation, and storage requirements.
This standard applies to medical molybdenum-99 technetium-99m color layer generators using Al2O3 as the adsorbent; it does not apply to other types of technetium-99m generators.
