YY 0605.9-2015 Implants for surgery—Metallic materials—Part 9:Wrought high nitrogen stainless steel
Abstract
This part of YY 0605 specifies the characteristics of stainless steel with a nitrogen content of 0.25% to 0.50% for surgical implants, which must be of high strength and good corrosion resistance, and the corresponding test methods.
Note 1: The mechanical properties of the samples taken from the finished products do not need to comply with the provisions of this part.
Note 2: For the requirements of other stainless steels for surgical implants, see ISO 5832-1.
