Abstract
This part applies to electric gas valves used in household and similar devices, or together with these devices, which use electricity and gaseous fuels, such as artificial gas, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas intended for use in gas combustion equipment.
Note: Additional consideration should be given to corrosive gases if necessary.
This part also applies to electric gas valves using NTC and PTC thermistors. The additional requirements for them are included in Appendix J.
