GA 632-2006 Self-contained positive pressure oxygen breathing apparatus for fire fighting
Abstract
This standard specifies the models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, and other requirements for positive-pressure fire oxygen breathing apparatuses. This standard applies to positive-pressure fire oxygen breathing apparatuses (hereinafter referred to as breathing apparatuses) used by firefighters and rescue personnel in harsh environments such as toxic, oxygen-deficient, smoke-filled, and hazardous pollutants suspended in the air during emergency rescue, disaster relief, or disaster management work. This standard does not apply to positive-pressure fire air breathing apparatuses, diving breathing apparatuses, and negative-pressure breathing apparatuses.
