Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types, components, basic parameters, requirements, test methods, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of roller pump blood pumps used in cardiopulmonary bypass systems. This standard applies to roller pump blood pumps (hereinafter referred to as blood pumps) used in cardiopulmonary bypass systems. These products are intended for use in medical units during surgeries and rescue operations to temporarily replace the function of the heart for extracorporeal circulation or local perfusion.
