Abstract
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage of life-saving thermal insulation equipment (hereinafter referred to as thermal insulation equipment). This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of thermal insulation equipment used by survivors in lifeboats, rescue boats, and other cold environments on ships.
