Abstract
This part of GB/T 4909 specifies the test principles, testing equipment, specimen preparation, measurement steps, test results, and evaluation for the Brinell hardness test of bare wires.
This part is applicable to the determination of the hardness of copper, aluminum, and their alloy conductors.
The upper limit of the Brinell hardness test range specified in this part is 150 HBW.
This part should be used in conjunction with GB/T 4909.1—2009.
