This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and models, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of reverse osmosis water treatment equipment (hereinafter referred to as the equipment). This standard applies to equipment that uses reverse osmosis membrane (spiral, disc-tube) technology to desalinate, purify, and separate water.
