Abstract
This standard specifies the liquid chromatography method for determining 11-aminoundecanoic acid in food simulants.
This standard is applicable to the determination of 11-aminoundecanoic acid in water-based food simulants such as water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution, and 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution, as well as in olive oil.
The lower limit for the determination of 11-aminoundecanoic acid in water-based food simulants is 0.8 mg/L, and the lower limit for the determination of 11-aminoundecanoic acid in olive oil is 0.8 mg/kg.
