Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining the content of melamine in food simulants.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the melamine content in four food simulants, including water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution, 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution, and olive oil.
The lower limit for determining the melamine content in three water-based food simulants, including water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution, and 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution, is 5.00 mg/L, and the lower limit for determining the melamine content in olive oil is 4.00 mg/kg.
