This standard does not include the terms and definitions of enamel and glazed ceramics, thermal spraying, and hot-dip galvanizing, which have been included in professional vocabulary lists or are being developed in related vocabulary lists. In most cases, this standard does not include basic terms that have the same meaning in surface treatment and other technical fields, nor does it include basic terms defined in chemical and physical manuals and dictionaries.
