GB/T 43232-2023 Fasteners—Measurement method of axial stress by ultrasonic
Abstract
This document specifies the principles, instruments, measurement methods, data processing, and measurement reports for ultrasonic measurement of axial stress in bolts, screws, and studs. This document is applicable to the measurement of axial stress in bolts, screws, and studs (hereinafter referred to as bolts) during or after assembly, as well as the dynamic in-situ monitoring of axial stress in service. The bolts applicable to this document are: a) single wave: nominal diameter not less than 5 mm, double wave: nominal diameter not less than 12 mm; b) length-to-diameter ratio not less than 3:1; c) performance grade 8.8 and above; d) acoustic isotropic materials; e) axial stress range: (30%～90%) Rp0.2.
