Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of glass and metal railings used in buildings.
This standard applies to protective railings for civil buildings, which are composed of metal railings and panel boards made of metal or glass materials.
This standard does not apply to railings with non-metal railing structures.
