This standard specifies the classification, styles, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, and transportation of electrically insulated shoes.
This standard applies to electrically insulated shoes used as auxiliary safety equipment when working on electrical equipment.
This standard does not apply to insulated shoes made by a single-line stitching process.
