Abstract
This document describes a method for determining the content of manganese, silicon, iron, and phosphorus in manganese-iron alloys, manganese-silicon alloys, manganese-iron nitrides, and metallic manganese using wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (melt-cast glass plate method). This document is applicable to the determination of the content of manganese, silicon, iron, and phosphorus in manganese-iron alloys, manganese-silicon alloys, manganese-iron nitrides, and metallic manganese. The measurement ranges for each element are shown in Table 1.
