Abstract
This standard specifies the basic requirements for the manufacture and acceptance of welded components of metal cutting machine tools (hereinafter referred to as machine tools).
This standard applies to welded parts of metal cutting machine tools manufactured by methods such as manual arc welding and gas shielded welding from carbon structural steel, low alloy structural steel, and stainless steel.
