GB/T 39686-2020 Test method for determining elastic modulus and strength of thick ceramic coatings
Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, instrumentation, samples, tests, calculations, and test reports for testing the elastic modulus and strength of thick ceramic coatings (>30 μm) at room temperature using the three-point bending method.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the elastic modulus and strength of thick ceramic coatings on metal or ceramic substrates. Other hard and brittle thick coatings (with an elastic modulus greater than 60 GPa) can be used for reference.
