GB/T 4201-2006

This standard specifies the evaluation requirements for the performance and characteristics of balancing machines used for balancing rotating components. The standard focuses on the format of balancing machine characteristics that should be provided by manufacturers, and outlines the evaluation criteria and test methods for balancing machines. It is recommended to use the formats specified in Clauses 4.1 and 4.2 to facilitate users' comparison of products from different manufacturers. Appendix B provides guidelines to assist users in expressing their requirements. The standard details the calibration rotors used to ensure consistency with the balancing machine's specified ability to indicate unbalance, as well as the methods for testing their quality and performance. The standard does not specify the testing of other capabilities and performance parameters of balancing machines. Appendix E describes the recommended modification scheme for the legacy calibration rotors specified in the former national standards GB/T 4201-1984 and GB/T 7662-1987. This standard does not specify balancing criteria, which are defined in GB/T 9239.1-2006. This standard applies to balancing machines that support and make workpieces rotate at a constant speed under balanced conditions (rigid), and can indicate the magnitude and phase angle of unbalance requiring correction on one or more planes. The standard includes two types of balancing machines for measuring unbalance effects on soft bearings and hard bearings. This standard also includes technical requirements for the aforementioned balancing machines, but does not include special performance such as those related to automatic correction.
