GB/T 12816-2006

This standard specifies the internal noise limits and their measurement methods for railway passenger cars during operation and when stationary.
This standard applies to newly manufactured passenger cars (including hard-seat cars, soft-seat cars, first-class and second-class cars), sleeping cars, dining cars, power cars, luggage cars, postal cars, and hybrid cars of the above types operating on standard gauge tracks, and is also applicable to the passenger compartments of EMU vehicles. Special-purpose vehicles such as official cars, sanitary cars, maintenance cars, and test cars, as well as other passenger cars with special requirements, shall also comply with this standard, except that the noise limits and measurement point positions shall meet the special requirements of their design and use.
