This document specifies the general requirements and safety requirements for miscellaneous wiring used in lamps powered by AC sources with a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz and a voltage of less than 1,000 V, and/or DC sources with a voltage of less than 1,000 V.
This document does not apply to wiring or devices that already have dedicated standards.
