GB/T 22310-2023 Road vehicles—Brake linings—Effects of heat on dimensions and form of disc brake pads test method
Abstract
This document describes two methods for measuring the thermal expansion of disc brake pads: the heat press method and the oven method, in order to determine the relationship between dimensional changes and temperature and their thermal conductivity. The dimensions include: -- thickness; -- certain contour dimensions of disc brake pads that may lead to brake failure. This document is applicable to molded or bonded disc brake pads with a solid backing plate, with a width not exceeding 120 mm, a height not exceeding 80 mm, and a thickness not exceeding 20 mm.
