Abstract
This standard specifies the test method for determining the maturity of cotton fibers after they have been swollen in sodium hydroxide solution using a microscope. This standard is applicable to cotton fibers extracted from unprocessed raw cotton, cotton rolls, cotton bales, and yarns.
