GB 23727-2009 Regulations for radiation and environment protection in uranium mining and milling
Abstract
This standard stipulates the principles and basic requirements of radiation protection and environmental protection that should be followed in the processes of site selection, design, construction, operation, closure or decommissioning of uranium mines and processing plants.
This standard applies to uranium mines and uranium processing plants. Mines or processing plants containing uranium (thorium) associated ores may also refer to and implement it accordingly.
