This document specifies the safety and interchangeability requirements for double-ended LED lamps with G5 or G13 lamp heads used to replace fluorescent lamps with the same lamp heads, as well as the test methods and inspection conditions for verifying their compliance.
The scope of application is as follows:
——Rated power: 125 W and below;
——Rated voltage: 250 V and below.
These double-ended LED lamps are used to replace double-ended fluorescent lamps without any modification to the luminaire.
The existing luminaires into which the replacement double-ended LED lamps are installed may contain inductors or electronic control devices.
The requirements of this document only concern type testing.
For recommendations on full product inspection or batch inspection, see Appendix A.
Note 1: In this document, "lamp" represents "double-ended LED lamps (for replacing straight tube fluorescent lamps)", unless otherwise specified as other types of lamps.
This document applies to general lighting (excluding, for example, explosive environments). If the lamps are used in other scenarios, there may be additional requirements.
This document does not apply to retrofit double-ended LED lamps that require modifications to the luminaire.
