GB/T 7000.1-2023 Active

This document specifies the general requirements for lamps using electric light sources with a power supply voltage not exceeding 1,000 V. The requirements and related tests proposed in this document include: classification, marking, mechanical structure, electrical structure, and photobiological safety.
Each chapter of this document should be read in conjunction with Chapter 0 and other relevant chapters cited.
Each part of GB/T 7000 Part 2 details the specific requirements for a particular type of lamp or a group of lamps with a power supply voltage not exceeding 1,000 V. For ease of revision, these parts are published separately, and additional parts may be added when necessary.
The presentation of luminous data for lamps is considered by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE), so this document does not address it.
This document includes requirements for lamps with triggers having a nominal peak pulse voltage not exceeding the values in Table 11.2. These requirements apply to lamps with triggers installed in ballasts and lamps with triggers separate from the ballast. Requirements for lamps with triggers installed in the lamp are under consideration.
This document includes requirements for semi-lamps.
In general, this document includes safety requirements for lamps. The purpose of this document is to provide a set of requirements and tests applicable to most types of lamps, and these requirements are referenced by the specific provisions of GB/T 7000 Part 2. Therefore, this document should not be regarded as a specification for any type of lamp, and the provisions of this document only apply to specific types of lamps within the scope defined by GB/T 7000 Part 2.
When GB/T 7000 Part 2 cites the requirements of this document's chapters and articles, it specifies the scope of application of these chapters and articles, the order of tests, and, if necessary, some additional requirements.
