Abstract
This document specifies the requirements for emergency lighting fixtures.
This document provides the general requirements for emergency lighting equipment.
This document applies to emergency lighting fixtures that use electric light sources and whose power supply voltage does not exceed 1,000 V.
This document does not apply to the impact of non-emergency voltage reduction on high-intensity gas discharge lamp fixtures.
This document will continue to use the term "lamp", which also refers to "light source" when appropriate.
