GB/T 17107-2025 Structural steel bars for forgings
Abstract
This document specifies the classification, order content, manufacturing process, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, and quality certificates for forged steel bars made from high-quality carbon structural steel and alloy structural steel. This document applies to forged round steel with a nominal diameter not exceeding 1,500 mm, forged square steel with a nominal edge length not exceeding 1,300 mm, and forged flat steel with a nominal thickness not exceeding 1,000 mm and a nominal width not exceeding 1,700 mm. This document also applies to general forgings in metallurgy, mining, shipbuilding, engineering machinery, and other equipment, where mechanical properties are sampled and measured after overall heat treatment.
