This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic testing requirements, test conditions, measurement methods and measuring instruments for the thermal performance test of alkali recovery boilers, as well as the calculation of boiler efficiency and the preparation of test reports. This standard is applicable to boilers that use pulp black liquor as fuel.
