Abstract
This part of GB/T 2912 specifies the method for determining the content of free formaldehyde by water extraction and partial hydrolysis.
This part is applicable to any form of textiles.
This part is applicable to textiles with a free formaldehyde content ranging from 20 mg/kg to 3,500 mg/kg. The detection limit is 20 mg/kg. Results below the detection limit are reported as "not detected".
