Abstract
This document describes the ultrasonic testing method for deformed aluminum and aluminum alloys, and deformed magnesium and magnesium alloys. This document is applicable to ultrasonic testing of deformed aluminum and aluminum alloys, and deformed magnesium and magnesium alloys using ultrasonic pulse reflection technology. This document is not applicable to ultrasonic testing of castings, welded parts, and layered composite materials produced from aluminum, magnesium, and their alloys.
