Abstract
This part of GB/T 20501 defines the composition of block guidance maps, establishes the design principles of block guidance maps, and specifies the design requirements for information units such as map titles, main maps, legends, overview maps, and indexes. This part is applicable to the design of block guidance maps in public places where pedestrian walkways are located on both sides of roads, pedestrian entrances and exits of transportation facilities, and other public places where pedestrians are more concentrated and have higher guidance needs, as well as in areas composed of several streets.
