Abstract
This part of GB/T 15972 specifies the technical requirements for the method of measuring the macrobending loss of optical fibers, including the overview, devices, samples and sample preparation, procedures, calculations, and results.
This part is applicable to measuring the macrobending loss of Class B single-mode optical fibers at wavelengths of 1550 nm or 1625 nm, Class A1 multimode optical fibers at wavelengths of 850 nm or 1300 nm, and Class A3 and Class A4 multimode optical fibers at wavelengths of 650 nm, 850 nm, or 1300 nm.
