GB/T 16754-2021 Safety of machinery—Emergency stop function—Principles for design
Abstract
This document specifies the functional requirements and design principles of the emergency stop function for machines, and is applicable to emergency stop functions using any form of energy.
This document is applicable to all mechanical devices except for the following two types of machines:
——Machines for which the emergency stop function cannot reduce risks;
——Hand-held machines or manual machines.
This document is not applicable to functions used in the emergency stop function for reversing or limiting movement, diverting emissions (such as radiation, liquids), shielding, braking, or disconnecting, etc.
Note: The requirements for emergency stop functions implemented using electrical/electronic technology are specified in IEC 60204-1.
