This document specifies the models and representation methods, materials, technical requirements, inspection rules, packaging, and markings for galvanized steel wires used in overhead conductors (including zinc-coated steel wires and zinc-aluminum alloy-coated steel wires), and describes the corresponding test methods. This document is applicable to the manufacture, inspection, and application of galvanized steel wires used in the structure and/or reinforcement of overhead conductors.
